Capcom delays

The delays, which appear to be worldwide, include Super Street Fighter IV and Lost Planet 2, in addition to the North American and European release of Monster Hunter 3. The releases of these games and others, including Dead Rising 2, are planned to be "spread across all four quarters" of Capcom's fiscal 2011, which begins April 1, 2010 and ends March 31, 2011. The decision to delay the games was made in order to "avoid competing with the major titles that other companies plan to introduce."

Are they even going to bring SSF4 to the PC? I will be so ****ing disappointed if not (beyond words - only large image emotes will work). It hasn't been announced yet, while the 360 and PS3 versions have. Post if you find out anything.

I'm kinda surprised, that's only twice as much as the 360 version. A couple years ago, I think that difference would have been staggering.

The demo was fun, but that particular boss wasn't too much to talk about. Looking at recent videos/screens, it looks like there's much more fun packed in there.

You know what would actually be useful information here? Sales numbers. Sales can be proven piracy numbers cannot. If the PC version made a profit and that profit was somewhat substantial then why wouldn't they continue developing on PC? If it didn't make them enough money then fine but if they come out with any other excuse it's just a cop out.

I loved the demo, played it several times with friends and we had great fun in it.

Same. It played like an action packed and futuristic take on Monster Hunter.

LP2 is one of my most wanted games at the moment. I like the style, the pace, weapons, monsters, and Capcom's more measured take on co-op play. It looks all good

Did you Xbros ever end up getting the good demo? I heard you only got to fight the giant boss, but the PS3 version lets you play two levels before that.

We only got the fight with the giant salamander.

Oh, that sucks. Before that there's a forest level with a big mantis-like creature that comes out of the ground, and there's a waterfall level that has another one of those creatures plus some giant roly-poly things. You also get to fight many smaller creatures, like flying manta rays and uh...some other things I can't properly recall. And both of those levels lead up to the salamander.
