I don't recall ever seeing this mentioned anywhere. I loved the original, and now it seems that Bohemia Interactive are doing a remake:

The original feeling was about a deserted, totally automated carrier, slowly cruising from island to island. Creepy and atmospheric. This new one seems to have crewmen and a different pace. We'll see. The original was awesome.

There has been no information from the devs on the project at all, since March of this year.

Last I heard, BIS was having some financial troubles with their games department(Hence why they put the XB360 version of ARMA2 on hold) so, I sorta doubt this will ever see the light of day, if it will, it'll probably be like 3-4 years at least.

But then again, I could be wrong.
