Has lots of really crappy shows that appeal to 9 year olds who enjoy long pauses and repetitive annoying sounds / one liners.

The only reason I turn to that channel is because of 1) Futurama (well, not anymore), 2) Family Guy, 3) Harvy Birdman

10:00 central time for futurama, and 10:30 central time for family guy here, for me in the unisted states. They sometimes reverse those timeslots.

Adult Swim? What the hell do they show on it... I remember years ago Cartoon Network would stop broadcasting at 9 where I live.

Adult Swim is the only good thing about Cartoon Network anymore.
Nickelodeon is worse...much worse, trust me.
Almost every week / month they introduce a new show that they just pulled out of their ass.
The artwork is usually effortless, and the voicework / humor / stories are usually the worst this planet's ever seen.

Before they killed Invader Zim, and made Rugrats All Grown Up...they were acceptable...

American Dad, aqua teen hunger force, baby blues, big o, blue gender, the brak show, case closed, cowboy bebop, family guy, flcl, fullmetal alchemist, futurama, ghost in the shell: stand alone complex, harvey birdman attorney at law, home movies, inuyasha, kikaider, lupin the 3rd, mission hill, the oblongs, paranoia agent, robot chicken, samurai champloo, s-cry-ed, sealab 2021, space ghost coast to coast, super milk-chan, tom goes to the mayor, trigun, venture bros, witch hunter robin, wolf's rain.


The name adult swim comes from the old swimming phrase that kids need to get out of the pool... its an adult swim only for whatever period of time.

ACtually, looking at Wikipedia, it is a seperate entity from cartoon network.

Adult Swim officially split from Cartoon Network on March 28th, 2005, thus becoming its own entity. It shares the same basic cable channel, running at different times of the day.

I love: Futurama, Family Guy, AquaTeen, Sealab, Harvey Birdman, and Robot Chicken.

But my critics favorite goes to Venture Brothers, ever nerd owes it to himself to see this show. Its a half hour barrage of nerd references and puns, and is absolutely amazingly clever.

Yeah I know, I'm pissed off too! In the UK it comes on Sky One and sometimes Fx channel (270) at 12ish on fri or saturdays. Theres not enough of FG here! The new season hasn't even started!
