Cases?

I am looking to spend under $60 for a case. Plus, I don't really want to purchase one off of ebay. I would rather get one off of Newegg only because it is very reliable.

i have the second case and i am not liking it so much, the cooling sucks ass in it. Im shopping around for a better case too, but I am going for coolage this time, so under $60 is gonna be kinda hard to find

If u want a great case go with a "lian li" Aluminum case can never go wrong with that

ABIT AV8
AMD64 3500+
Koolance exos AL (cpu/chipset)
BFG GF6800 GT OC
Corsair TWINX1024-3200XL (DDR400)
Lian li pc 65

Can anyone tell me an AWESOME brand of cases? I am really not sure which one I should go for. I am going to keep the price under $60.

Lian Li, Antec and Thermaltake are my favourite cases and best quality. Ala, they are more expensive as well. I've personally got this case, comes with 7 fans and nice features. Had it about 8 months, its getting pretty dusty inside and the fans are smuthered in dust but it still keeps my PC at a nice temp and it really is uber quiet with all 7 fans spinning, plus the 2 on my thermaltake PSU and the one on my CPU.

If your the type of person that can get to sleep with a TV on or something this case won't keep you up at night from noise, the only thing i don't like it about it now is the lights on the front and Why the **** did i have to go and buy LED'd splitter cables for my PC :dozey:

Anyway if you've never had a LED lit up PC they are very nice to look at for a few months until the novelty dies then they become annoying when your room is lit up blue at night if your PC is left on. I'd reccomend a Antec or Lian Li case if LED PC's are'nt your cup of tea, if they are and you still want a quality made case, then the Thermaltake's are your best choice.

I know you mentioned price being an issue, but for what it's worth.

I have one of these and theres just a friggin ton of airflow in it.

The only other case I would've bought besides this one would be a Thermaltake Tsunami.

After having it for a couple weeks though, if I had to do it all over again I'd go with the X-Navigator. I think on xoxide.com you can get the same case w/o the PSU too, I like it though.....saved me alot of trouble sleeving the cables.

Take a look at the thermaltake cases as well. I currently own a Thermaltake XaserIII, it has 7 x 80mm fans included. They hardly make any noise, but keep the air in motion inside the case.

Worth looking into IMO. Lots of space as well.
