Casino tips

Ok, so I'm taking this girl out to a comedy show at the Casino, and of course the way they get your money is when you gamble after the show. I've never been in a Casino in my life and hardly ever gamble. Anybody have some tips so I don't look like a fool, aka how to play craps, or what games are close to 50-50 odds or share funny stories or whatever.

Oh yeah, one night stand tips too, she flies back to Houston tomorrow.

Tip 1. Don't gamble.

Majour tip:

Decide how much you are willing to throw away. If you are not prepared to spend more than 50dollars and have nothing to show for it, not even a hangover. Then only buy that much in chips, and do not buy any more even if you lose it all.

If you have safe limits, then you can have a good time.

I remenber I watched a documental about someone that used a mathematic metod like normal just by thinking and allways won something but the directors of the casino allways trow him out and he wasnt doing anything illegal

Play blackjack. I've been to the casino twice. First time I tried everything out and pretty much lost all the money I was planning to spend (about £40) then went to the blackjack table with £10 and left with about £70.

Second time I went straight to the blackjack table, met a girl, won at blackjack (about £30 from a £10 start) and left with the girl. Been seeing her for about a month.

See if you can guess the moral of the story

Definately agree with setting yourself limits and stick to them. I don't think I could, I lose enough money by not sticking to my limits at arcades, I'd end up betting my kidneys at a casino.

stay away from pure gambling stuff like roulettes, the odds are much lower than what you spend on it

at least play blackjack or poker, read the basics on it

I wouldn't play any games that require you against someone, chances are you'll be robbed by pros.

Gambling wouldn't exist if there were more winners than losers. It only exists and people only do it because of false hope and greed. If you don't have a plan to play the system, don't try.

Take out the bank the money you are willing to spend and then leave your credit cards at home so you can't take out anymore money if you start to loose.

Bring only the amount of cash that you're willing to lose, and start playing with the expectation that you're going to lose all of it. Leave any credit/debit cards in your suitcase along with your checkbook. If at any point during the night you double your original amount of money, get the **** out, you've won.

If you are doing extremly well, leave. If you want to try a slot machine watch other people playing first. If someone puts a load of money into one and doesn't get anything then try that one. Never try one that has just been won. But I don't recommend you go to slot machines at all.
