It's currently sitting at around 85% average reviews, if you're the sort of person that cares about that. Most are saying it is a refreshingly lengthy (20+ hours) and polished game, despite borrowing much from it's inspiration. Combat seems to be quite deep, music is described as excellent, with a few older tunes getting a refresh, and it is very atmospheric. One of the main gripes seems to be related to performance, and the game seems to chug slightly at certain points on both systems. Comments on GAF seem to reinforce what the reviews have stated.

I will definitely be picking this up after I get back from my honeymoon. Looks to be everything I hoped it would be.

I'm currently playing through Darksiders and Uncharted 2 on my PS3. I'll probably pick this up when I've finished those :) Hopefully I can get it for cheap by then :)

Looks good though!
 
I'm so glad I pre ordered this game instead of Enslaved. I've heard that game is terribly short. Another typical ninja theory game...
 
i tried the demo and was really impressed, this just went from not on my radar to day 1 :)

and yeah enslaved was total crap
 
I bought it cheap but will be finishing up MOH and Wolfenstein before I dig into it. seems like a fun game from what I keep hearing
 
The demo was ok, but I agree that it feels like it was trying to take the best parts of other more successful and (more importantly) more fun games and turn them into a winner. I think by doing this they kind of forgot to make it a Castlevania game. It just seems to generic action-adventure-y which is not horrible, but it is also pretty forgettable.
