cb needs some Urgent help

Moved all my gear to a spinky new case, turned it on.. starts up...

Doesn't detect Primary Master, or in fact, any IDE devices.

Any idea what might be causing this?

Please help.. I really really need to get up and running fast.

happened to me this very weekend, this is what i did...

i left for the weekend, turned it on, it worked after 4 tries, no probelms.

leave it on for an hour, and reboot

Yeah, but did the LEDs on your CD drive(s) light up? Mine don't. Usually thats a lack of power, or it's not getting signals from the mobo.. what could be wrong? My fans and everything else works

same here, just make sure u hav the hard drive link to the mobo, i was freaked out too, just keep rebooting

Course the IDE cables are in the IDE ports

It's all the same as it was..

Did you try switching the molex plugs to connect to something else? It may be that wire line got damaged, try plugging a fan into it. Did you try and flip the IDE cables around both ways(Heh I bought new round cables for my floppy drive and it never worked right at all, after 3 returns thinking the cables were damaged I figured out that I had the IDE going in the wrong way .) Get a can of compressed air and clean out all the IDE parts(IDE slots, IDE Cables, everything). Make sure nothing looks broken off on the mobo near the IDE slots.

Oki, I'm back in buisness.

I've got the HDD(s) to run and be detected, and the DVD and CDRW to recieve power. I'm h4x tbh
