Hi everyone, got a bit of a dilemma on my hands.....
I have a legitmate copy of HL2, but I lost my documentation when I moved last month. I really really need to reformat my harddrive due to some virus issues, but if I do then I'll lose the ability to play HL2, and with no key, can't reinstall.
So, my question is, is there some way to find your disk's CD key? I know you can get Windows XP's key from the registry.
If not, any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated, I really don't want to have to go drop another $50 on the game.
Along with this, with all the anti-pirarcy issues, can I even reinstall after a reformat?
