cd rom, 8mb buffer?

can someone link me a card thats only a cdrom with 8mb buffer, i tried looking for some but their buffers are under a meg, 128k 512k, only the cd/dvdrw drives have 8mb buffers, but i dont want a dvd burner, does even such a card exist? and can you recommend me some good brands today,

does samsung, plextor, sony, rap is up? how about msi or asus?

why do you want an 8mb buffer in a plain cd-rom? the only reason for a larger buffer in a cd-rw/dvd-+rw is because it can keep data youre burning in the buffer incase your computer cant transfer the data to the drive fast enough....
