Certification Exams

First of all, before you start reading this thread, ensure you are off any high horses you may be on. And do not get back on.

Now, does anyone know where you can get certification exams online? I mean, such as the Microsoft Certified Professional exams (but not those). I've searched, and you can buy them for $50 or so, but I figure someone here might know of some back alley torrent site that would house such things.

I know the product I am looking to get certified on, but I'm worried some BS questions are going to screw me over, and my small company will be out $200. I'm considering even paying $50 just in case, but I'm not even sure if they're reliable.

Any help would be appreciated.

How long after windows 7 is released should the certification exams be available to take?
How much does the book to study for it cost?
