Changed languages, now HL2 crashes predicably.

I'm billingual, so just for kicks I changed languages in steam and downloaded the appropriate files automatically and ran HL2. Now it crashes whenever I 'use' an object. Straight clean crash - no error message, no hl2 process left running, just straight to the desktop. What gives?

edit: OMG. nvm fixed it. My prankster roommate decided to bind 'quit' to use. wtf. I'm ashamed.
