I have downloaded the lattest beta of FF. Is there a way to transfer my cookies, favourites etc before I change and lose them?

Yes, go to bookmarks, and then manage bookmarks,
go to file then choose export, save the bookmarks

type in run:

application data then press enter

then back up the Mozilla folder....

C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME IN HERE \application data\Mozilla

Hmmm, it seems to have transfered the stuff itself. Nice one Mozilla

Firefox, gotta love it.

By the way, ríomhaire, I've always wondered what your avatar is suppose to represent, explain, please.

We all can't aford to pay for our browsers.

I enjoy FF..although recently I've been wondering about it. After I close it, at least 1 instance is still in memory..taking up 40 megs. I know that's not alot..but..why? Sometimes there are 2 instances left open! When I end their task..they don't come back..just sometimes after I close FF.

I thinking of switching to the new free opera. The less popular the less malicious code is written for it.
