Changing fonts for player name

:angry: I have been trying to change my player name with different fonts and it wont work..... here is what i have done....
start..***n....charmap...select font i want then type out name in that font...copy....open word...paste into word....then copy and paste into cs:s player name in options. nothing changes...still same old crappy font... i have searched the web and only get the same answer to what i have already done.
i run XP pro with all the latest patches etc and keep the game right up to date. i have even tried to copy and paste directly from charmap as well with the same results.
any ideas please... ;(

Anyone notice this?

Inside the cssource/hl2/resource and cstrike/resource there are some interesting fonts, one of them has all the weapons pictures.

Might be of use for someone.

1. Start - > Run - charmap
2. Start picking out chars for your name. Double click on the char you want. Then you can copy it into a text editor
3. After you have your name complete in a word file or something...just copy it - Open up CS:S and paste it into the name box in options.

Have finally realised the problem.....
You have to pick special characters to get the effect...i.e. characters not normal lower or uppercase... that fixed the problem... if i use normal characters it always remains the same old font.... and there are many that are associated with all fonts.
