okay so i'm definately going to buy some parts today and really would appreciate your opinions.

my current specs:

AMD Athlon XP 2400+
256 DDR RAM
GeForce 4 MX440

i'm going to buy an extra gig of RAM, and get a Radeon 9800 i reckon.

i could get this RAM: http://www.geil.com.tw/portal/product_400_tv_dc.php for £95, is it any good?

you could go with a 6600GT which you can pick up for around the same price as a 9800 pro but yet it performs much better...
