Cheating

Do you know if there's a way to use the cheats (single player only) in half life with steam? My friend wants to know if he can. And I dont know either. I just figure you cant.

yeah...i know you can put them in...but they dont actually DO anything.
You can turn sv_cheats to 1 and put in god noclip or anything and it dosnt work.

you need to run the game with the -developer 1 option.

I've just played in a serv where there was at least 2 cheaters, wallhack and aimbot. fy_iceworld, he had a strange name, like: cannot display picture [][][]dshugihsig couldn't get ip uifb93tr .. you get the idea... he was spawnkilling everyone on iceworld! with awp, para... I should have recorded him, it was so obvious he was cheating!!! I hope they will be banned for at least, hum... life Are they using the same cheats as in 1.5???

actualy there have been cheats for steam since they released it almost
and all the people banned by wonids are now back :|

Wait and see after HL2 is released, they will be updating VAC like its another project.

disturbed i understand that, but why should we have to wait for hl2 for an update? right now, nobody even knows when exactly hl2 is coming out.
