Cheats won't work!!!

i have alot of cheats for half life 2 i used the develepors consold typed it in and nothin, am i doing something wrong?

sv_cheats 1

Then put your cheats in.

wth restarting would disable the sv_cheats commands. you do not need to restart the game. in halflife if thats what you were thinking, you would have to die before you were able to use them but hl2 its works flawlessly.

the only time i ever cheat is once i finish the game.
