Some of you may think I'm a little off but I think that the following website is onto something. http://www.disclosureproject.org/ Its the only site that has tons of credible witnesses from the military and civilian sectors regarding UFOs. Now, now just hear me out. I know that the words "UFOs" and "Extraterrestrials" turn a lot people off but you should at least just take a look see.

There's so much that we could benefit from. So go take a look and get informed. Sign up, send a letter to Congress, the Senate, or President Bush.

Let me know what you think. And no, I don't work for this website. :p

:o :dozey:

I feel like a chump. I should have used the damn search engine!

*slaps forehead*

Anyways, maybe some people missed the previous two threads. Maybe? :P

No I remember them and how dare you have the gall to commit the terrible sin of making my eyes see the same info twice, DARN YOU, DARN YOU TO HECK!! :p

Man...I bet they could sure use my help! I do this awesome trick where I hum, whistle, and flick my tongue around in my mouth real quick at the same time. Sounds exactly like a spaceship from a 1950's B-movie.

Thats exactly it. No one takes this seriously even though there is good reason to at least look into it. Oh well.

Right...but everyone would listen if I made that noise while they were talking.

I usually have alot of trouble taking ufo's seriously, simply because of the experts. They are almost always wild-eyed hippy types.

But what better way to cover up a conspiracy than to let the least credible crazies know about it so they can try to tell everyone about it and people are like "look at this guy he is a nut" which totally discredits the idea. (think about it it WOULD work) (I also learned this from Arcanum,:D )

I agree, a lot of them are "wild-eyed hippy types". But what if they were right? ;)

If you look back into history there's been a lot of discomfort with new and radical ideas. For example, the Greek philosophers were ridiculed and even executed for criticizing the Republic. Galileo was also forced into house arrest for going against what the Church had said about the Earth and the Sun. The early oceanic explorers saying that there was more land beyond the horizon when people thought that the Earth was flat. Within the last century, people found it hard to believe that we would even be capable of going to the Moon.

People need to get over the idea that this is all science fiction thats dreamt up in some geek's mind. Just because its such a far out idea doesn't make it wrong. A lot of people have acknowleged that there is intelligent life somewhere out there so why is it so hard to believe that we have been visited?

:)

I need some sleep.

The Greeks and Galileo weren't either a) backwoods people or b)heavy drug users.

And let's think about the logiclly..... We've done a pretty good job scoping out the space in our general area. So unless these aliens have discovered a way to travel faster than a speed of light, chances are that they don't exist (around here... I firmly belive in life elsewhere... I just stongly doubt it's gotten here.)

Ah. But the same mind set about what they have to say still remains. The people on this website that are part of the Project are not either of those things. Most are ex-military, not hippies. Your argument would be valid if they were, but they're not.

Logically, we haven't done nearly enough to check out our own solar system and beyond. Even recently we've found new stuff within our own solar system. New Planetoid Discovered (Sedna) New Moon for Saturn

Is it really that hard to believe that another civilization could have visited us? Think about it. The Universe is estimated to be about 14 billion years old. Humans have only been around for a short time. Other life forms could have evolved millions if not billions of years ahead of us. So they might have the technology that we haven't even dreamt of.
