i just ordered a msi5900 ultra from new egg, i know you radeon people dont like them, but you have too admit MSI makes one sexy card.

Yes, it is kind of sexy, though I have seen even worse :)

/me tries to restrain myself about the poor choice of purchase
 
I know it sounds crazy but Ive never found that I can be turned on by a piece of hardware
 
geez guys im not saying i want to fu<k the card, it just looks cool. and yes i am a nvidia fanboy, but i got no problems with radeon. no matter what you say, weather you get a 5900, or a 9800, they are both great cards. i just had the extra dough from working my ass of this summer, i dont care too much about the performance (even though this card is somkin' fast) i just want something thats reliable and can play hl2 at max. plus nVidia is very reliable with support (drivers and such), though i am kind of dissapointed that they cheated on the 3dmark03 tests.
 
/me looks at the little shappire fan on my 9600pro

and to think, i can still oc it over 120Mhz core....

that's a massive card :)
 
I've been considering buying a GeforceFX 5900, I found a few places online that are selling them for only $250!. But I think I'm honestly gonna wait to upgrade vid cards until the next generation from Nvidia is released.
