when I got home and noticed my disk was missing, I would immediately call the police and report the teacher and burn every cd I had in my whole house 50 miles outside of town.

Clearly this kid didn't know how to handle the situation.

He should have immediately disposed of any extra evidence at his house, which apparantly the police found. He should have claimed someone swapped out his CD for that porn one, he had never seen it before, etc. etc. And not have sent that email. He could have gotten away with it.
