The Chinese crab fishing boats near Yeonpyeong Island, a South Korean island in the Yellow sea and a point of maritime contention between the opposed Korea's have disappeared seemingly over night.

A good indication that there could be some naval skirmishing along the maritime boundary there.

Considering NK's actions of late and South Korea's current assertive and less appeasing attitude towards NK, any flare up of hostilities here could potentially be the spark the re-ignites the Korean war, and since NK's military is so shit, SK's good, and the world generally not happy with NK (and America adamant they don't get viable nuclear weaponry) this may be the best time to do it militarily.

Also with ol Kim closer to his deathbed then he may like, it may be a perfect opportunity to exploit splits within the NK regime.

Also, I had to smile at the quote by a 70 year old resident of Yeonpyeong.

"It's impossible to describe my hatred for those commie sons of bitches".

Hehe.

In my opinion, SK's military think-tanks are working-out possible warm weather stratagems, because of the ill-kept NK war-equipment's high fuel/maintainance costs. -Hence all the late-Spring nuke-posturing and missle-bluster. Maritime skirmishes may happen in a 'Summer time-frame'. It also depends on the percentage of elite commandos that NK can spare for assorted naval-shenanigans, since most of the elite units are busy maintaining discipline within the regular Army.

not sure why...but i somewhat agree for war with NK. sadam wasn't nearly that bad as kim long dong il is. plus he's really annoying.

the only thing that would really get messy is the proximity of Seoul to the border. hey numbers...doesn't your city have any super bunkers where people can hide and not get blown to pieces?

North Korea is totally in the right here, them there crab fishin' boats can pose a reel threat to national security.

I'd love to do my part in killing those commie bastards.

Looks like those Koreans could be getting a bit red in the face.

lol. kill a random chinaman you see on the street. shouldnt be too hard, just swing a cat, you're bound to hit one. also they must be recent immigrants and chinese, koreans and other asians do not apply ..unless they're north commie korean, but it's hard to tell northerners from southerners on account of them being korean but ya you're a nutjob

and what the hell is a scarper?

Anyone know a bit about Kim's recently named successor (his youngest son)? Is he as nutty as his father, or can we look forward to a little peace?
