I've been working for a webshop in sweden that sell pc games, also console but im looking for a good pc game. Been thinking of Quake 4, but now when people say it suck im not so sure anymore. I played the FEAR demo, it was pretty cool but the leveldesign was crap so it doesnt feel too comfortable to get.
Well the choice is between FEAR and Quake 4, which should i pick and why ?

I haven't played Quake 4 so I can't really say which you should get.

But if you like Matrix-style fighting, mixed with Japanese horror and a story, hard to understand, then F.E.A.R. is the game for you.
I have had much fun with F.E.A.R. though.

Yeah, it's good. Very good quite frankly. And I'm sure you'll not have any trouble with the level design, because imo it's not bad at all. Sure, some areas can look repetitive (like the mission were you run around in an office building), but it never pull you out from the game, at least it didn't for me.

I would bet my money on F.E.A.R. if I would be you. But then again, it's your choice.
You can always read what the reviewers have said about the two games as well.

F.E.A.R is the shit.

I believe good AI can make the difference in an enjoyable FPS. Well, not to mention I think it excels horror shooters(Doom III pack up). It's real freaky.

Is it against rules to let's say one person posts the word "Dookie"

then 10 other members post the exact same thing, would that be some form of spam? Well, of course it's spam, but, the same word is being posted by different members, is that wrong!?

I think Q4 got bad reviews because people thought there would be something new, like in FEAR. But i guess the reason was to make another Quake game very similar to the other ones but with new technology such as graphics, sounds and physics not new gameplay and shit.
