Chris Angel Tricks

I don't like it.
I like menatalism and small scale magic and card tricks, magics fair fun.
 
He is amazing. He screws with your mind so much that you get all messed up and will simply act the way he wants you to. Thus when he says "give me your wallet", you will give him your wallet and not even think twice about it.

EDIT: OH GOD. This one is so freaking dangerous. If you can't handle intense moments, dont watch it.

chris angel is a f****ng *****t and I hope he *****ng dies! I don't know how the **** he has a *****ng show, he is the single worst 'magician' I have ever seen, and I've seen a third grader 'get my nose'. He cuts the camera every 2-3 seconds, films with the worst possible angles, and then does the simplest tricks ever. Wow! he walks up a building! How many ways can you do that if you don't use a cable? Zero! Jesus christ that was hard to figure out. Argh! Die dieidieiididieideidieideieieieidiideieididieidieidieiei!

He has this idea that doing a 'trick' in front of people who act shocked means that it must be real, as if you can't pay people to go "omg dude! O!M!G!!! ahhhh! no way! there's no way!!! ahhhh!!" I hate everything about him, I hate his tricks, i hate his show, i hate the way he dresses, i hate his attitude, i hate his camera guys, i hate his editors, i hate the 'stunt' riggers, i hate his friends and people who associate themselves with him, i hate the car he drives and the places he eats, i hate his cell phone plan. How did he get a TV show being such a ***k*** loser?

He's is a great illusionist, which is what I call him. I don't think magic exists..just awesome illusions.

Bullshit he is.

That first video, you find a girl (with legs) who looks like the girl without legs (who has probably appeared on oprah or maury or one of those shows) you bring the girl with legs down and then during one of the hundreds of camera cuts replace her with the girl with no legs.

The second video, can be done one of two ways (or both! since he cuts the camera every 3 seconds) either have him on a harness or put a piece of plexiglass about 0.5" below the water.

The third video, nobody walks through glass, we all know that. The glass was removed and replaced. Isn't it nice how chris lets that other guy in, then stops to untie his shoes (they fast ward it so you can’t see how much time is spent possibly preparing, because why would everything be able to pass through glass except shoes?). Isn't it nice how the zoom in and zoom out is about 90mph and you can never seen the area around the paper except when you're fully zoomed out. Hmm...

My favorite 'illusion' is the one where he had a dude draw a card and sign his name on it, then chris took a motorcycle to the end of the parking deck, chris drives past the dude on his motorcycle @ which point the dude throws all the cards up in the air and chris angel magically grabs the right card out of the air. Of course there was like 15 camera cuts in there, which means plenty of time for either the dude to hand chris angel the signed card, which chris angel palms and later 'flips up' at the right time. Or for the show the get 52 of the same card and have the dude sign each of them, OR you could even just have the dude sign a whole deck, then chris grabs one at random and then later in editing they splice in a clip of the dude drawing the card that chris angel pulled from the air. But yea, he's such an AWESOME illusionist...


edit: I feel like I'm taking crazy pills or something, everybody loves this guy and I feel like the only one who thinks he's the most worthless illusionist/magician/whatever of all time. Every trick I’ve ever seen him do can be reasonably explained in like 45 seconds. I will say that glass trick, I was impressed by the lack of camera cuts, however he just replaced them with zooming in while he unties his shoes, and standing in the way of the window immediately after stepping out.

edit 2: and yes I realize that nobody actually believes chris is doing all these things (unless you're retarded) and everybody knows they are all just illusions, but my problem with him is that he totally SUCKS at them.

i downloaded almost all of his shows except for one of his specials.
We dont get derren in the U.S.

I already ordered his book from the UK coming out in october.

Criss (not Chris) Angel does tons of staged stuff. I'm pretty sure that if some guy came up to the pool I was swimming in and walked across it, I wouldn't be sitting there yelling "lol awesome, that's so cool!". I would totally be WTF T_T speechless + running away.

And on the second video of Criss, how he cuts the woman in half... I mean seriously, is her top going to just start crawling away!? I would be freaking out and crying and shit if that happened to me. Or just plain pass out.

That Brown guy sure is cool though, never heard about him before now.
 
Most of Derrens tricks are just plain magic. Theres very little psychology.
 
All that street magic and stuff is dumb to me. Because it doesn't matter WHAT they do, anything from pulling a quarter from behind a person's ear to squishing somebody into a singularity with the power of the magicians mind only to the have the seemingly squished person pull up in a car 10 seconds later, it all relies on the fact that you have to believe the people they are using are not actors.
 
I remenber I saw something of chriss angle before he made the show,it was he inside a water tank in a public space,I think it was about resistance and stuff like ,but tricks like that are real

I remenber I saw in tv some stuff of houdini,he allways say that there is no magic that everything is thinking,and dam he was awsome

And, if a magician uses stooges all it takes is for one stooge to reveal it to a tabloid for a shit load of money at that guys career is over.

The whole thing was that the guy thought he was in the game now. In the game he wasnt able to smack people so instead he just shot them.

As for when Derren went up to, the guy did fight, its just that derren was able to knock him out again before a real fight.


Besides, your an idiot if you would go into melee with a zombie when you had a fully loaded gun.
 
Alot of it could very well be hypnosis, specially that zombie thing.
 
Chris Angel is amazing.

Not to mention I'd kill for his hair.
