I think a good Christmas present from topic makers on this forum would be to make their topic titles a bit more descriptive, for example by putting a "?" at the end of this topic I am posting in right now. These misleading topic titles are annoying.

True they are probably on there well deserved holidays, I was just being hopeful that they might release the overview bug fix as a nice little christmas present so competitive clan matches can start happening within source, or some new models to keep us busy for awhile until we complain and whinge for more updates

I would say it is and it isnt fair to keep asking for more stuff.

I was happy enough to pay £35 for my copy of Half-Life 2 , and HL2 only, but valve thrown in CS:S Source as its multiplayer.. Good on them... BUT now that means iv paid for HL2 & CS:S, of which only half the CS:S content is there so im entitled to complain, even if its not for the extra models and goodies, I just want the current version to be playable at match level, the overview bug would take them less time to fix than it would for them to fiz some of the other far far less important bugs which they have been fixing, or the ones that they have fixed and created more problems (ie HE nade sounds).

Ok so they gave us HL2DM , although I dont play it myself, that too is also only half of a game, it had what.. 2 maps?

So it is fair to complain and ask for more IF we are asking for what we paid them for. Simple as that basicly.

But I would of been happy paying my money just for HL2, so they brought in on themself by throwing in half of an uncomplete buggy game :0

So...

Fix the important bugs please

We want more (or what we paid for atleast)

What are you talking about you Deserve it, How do you figure? YOU paid for halflife2, and you got it, And they still throw updates at us via steam. they even gave us Halflife2: DM which they couldof charged us for if they wanted, They even put tons of work into making a SDK pack for us so that we can have tons of awesome mods in the future... NOw please, explain to me why you think you deserve it. And anyone with half a brain can get steam to work properly, I for one Love steam, and have since i got it. (first appearance of 1.6)

Updates will come, people just need to be patient, it is the holiday season after all, even Valve deserve a holiday *gasp* Looking at the update releases so far, they have released updates on the following dates in the last two weeks...

Dec 10th - Half-Life 2, HL2DM and Source Dedicated Server Update
Dec 14th - Steam Client Update Released
Dec 16th - Counter-Strike: Source, Source Engine Update
Dec 17th - Source Dedicated Server
Dec 20th - Source SDK Update
Dec 22th - Half-Life 2 and Counter-Strike: Source Update

This is very good support in my opinion and its obvious that they are working on various things at once. Yes, there are things people want that have not yet been implemented, but they will come and then people will move on to bitch about something else.
