Chrome. I bought it. Don't flame me...

Okay, I just want to know: What's so bad about Chrome?

I played the demo a couple of days back, straight after buying my new computer... and I really thought it was quite cool. It ran incredibly smoothly, had nice graphics, and a pleasent sort of "Sneak-up-on-'em-and-shoot-them-before-they-can-shoot-you" gameplay.

So I went and bought the full game. And I really quite like it. The engine seems great, the gameplay is really fun, I absolutely love the over-the-top ragdolling... in fact, the only thing I'm not sure about is the face modelling on the main male characters (Logan looks a little like a blowfish, lol).

The weapons have a nice realistic feel to them, the accuracy system reminds me of Deus Ex (In a good way), and the implants are fun. The AI is tricky, and the game is pleasantly challenging even on Easy.

Looking back, I'm not sure why the reviewers gave the game such a bad rating...

EDIT: I just remembered, there's a beta demo, and the proper demo. Between the beta demo and the proper one, a lot of tweaking was performed. The beta demo sucks, the proper one is cool. Download the proper one.

I've followed Chrome all the way through its development, and I eventually just felt that it seemed rather average. It has a cool thing here or there, but it just never seemed enough to warrant a purchase. Some computers seemed to have a lot of technical issues with it too.

The RPG-like inventory system and some crappy graphical bugs in the demo screwed it for me.

The kinda missing/corrupted/crappy textures, PPL wit moving feet while standing....lots of them....

And the AI sucked!

AI in the full game's just fine. Enemies duck behind cover, try and get behind you... although they do tend to not notice grenades. But then again, I havent downloaded any patches yet.

I can't say anything about the game, haven't tried it but everyone has his own opinion and it's only good if you like a game.

I tried the newest SP demo... it was ok.
I won't buy the game though.
