And yea, generally speaking top of the line models tend to transcend typical car-crowd boundaries: svt, M, srt, type-r, amg, etc...are all badges that everybody loves. What's the big deal anyway? BTW, PT Cruisers DO suck balls. I had a friend who used to have one before his house burned down. It was later determined by the fire marshals the fire started due to faulty wiring within that POS. On that note, I'd never wanted to own a house with an attached garage either after hearing that story.

Here's a better idea to Grungy Motors and Shitler, stop making fiberglass/plastic bodies, rip out all electronics from current blueprints, and go with a simpler design. One that will last longer than 5 years without dropping in a new engine.

I've got a little 2 door turbo and wouldn't have it any other way. Well, that's not really true. If I had a family I'd get a 4 door turbo also. Probably Subaru.

they're not big enough for a family. I had a subaru forrester (the largest subaru, next to tribeca) and had to trade it in for a stupid gm suv because it just wasnt large enough for a family of 4. 2 kids in baby seats, strollers, various diaper bags etc ..meant the dog had to sit between them which isnt fair to him since he's 72 pounds. will definately get a subaru again, awesome brand. I will however nver buy an american made car ever again., they'd had to drastically change their quality for me to even consider it. I've driven american and japnese cars for longer than some of you have been alive and I can rightfully say the japnese cars are leaps and bounds beyond the american companies. this is why even with restructuring and bailouts the american automobile industry is doomed. they've sat on their collective asses for too long while the competition built a better vehicle

I don't pay very much attention, but it would be a shame if Mitsubishi went under with Chrysler. Despite some mistakes and bad choices they've made, I'm a little bit of a fan of them.

Supreme Court Justice; Ruth Bader-Ginsberg, just threw a pipewrench into the Administration/UAW 'plan' to sell Chrysler to Fiat Motors. Bondholders, primarily the State Of Indiana's employee retirement-fund, by law, should recieve the .57 return on-the-dollar rather than the UAW. -Not the .28 return as dictated by Obama's edict. The UAW has never lent Chrysler, nor GM, anything. The fact that a member of The Court has put the sale on-hold, indicates that the Adminsitration's edict is very-likely against federal-law.

btw, I thought Obama promised to abolish lobbying. The UAW, alongwith the Service Employee's International Union, are the largest loudmouthed bullying 'lobbying groups' in US-history. An election-win kickback is an election-win kickback, period.
