no, only specific documents pertaining to a specific time frame ...it has to do with the freedom of information act ..technically they dont have to release anything ..people/groups have to formally petition to have specific documents released and only after a 25 year statute of limitations has expired...here is the most comprehensive archive of already released declassified material ...btw notice that there are always huge portion of released documents that have been covered over by a magic marker? even declassified information is not always declassified

the documents may take years to fully decipher ...should be interesting as to see what they turn up ..the dossier on Saddam is quite enlightening especially in light of how he was finally disposed of

Yeh they say that's for 'national security' purposes, but what exactley does national security mean, for all we know 'national security' could mean 'private interests'.

Got this example from the FBI for instance, only till recently there were blacked out pen markings covering Osama Bin Ladens name, alot has been erased.

The government is allowed to continue to restrict documents indefinitely.

For example, the stories of spies in WW2. The methods used by spies in WW2 is very pertinent today, so information in that domain is controlled.

tbh, sounds like this release of info is a statement to say "We are open and honest!"

Vote for Ron Paul! Research him if your not hip to his true American ideology. He has stated he would abolish the CIA, along with the Federal Reserve etc..

Hes the only candidate that would not end up being another puppet for the corporations and other institutions that control you.
