Cigars!

What do you think of cigars?

We've had a couple threads dealing with various "substances" of late, and I felt that this is the appropriate next step. Basically, what I'm asking is, what do you think of cigars?


Personally, I think they're just dandy. They give you a relaxing buzz, taste damn good, ooze style and class, and are simply excellent for kicking back and enjoying life. I don't smoke them often, but on the occasions that I do, I really enjoy them.

Anyway, what do you think?
 
Jesus doesn't love smokers.

As far as I remember, I've never had one. So I don't hold much of an opinion either way
 
Oh yes indeedy. Makes you look either sophisticated, or like a Texas oil baron.

I've had a puff of one once when I was about 12 or 13.

Didn't like it. Not into smoking... cigars are just as bad as cigarettes in my mind... who cares if they make you feel confident.

That's why people are so suckered into them anyways... the brilliant advertising campaigns directed at them... making them think they'll look smart, be smart, be successful... drive fast cars, screw fast women... etc etc.
 
Unless you're old, you look stupid with them.

Um no they taste and smell great. They are also relaxing especially after a big event. EG: You just won like a big game or event or something or finished building something.

It's a cherry on top of an ice cream. Good for an ending, or just good to sit down and relax with.

I really enjoy a cigar. Special occasions or whenever someone is kind enough to bring some back from holiday. Not a fan of the small and thin ones you generally get behind bars, but the bigger, tobacconist types.

Last one I had for a special occasion was when the JT's won the cup, and the last one I had as a holiday gift was during a game of poker. Classy.
 
A nice, well-crafted cigar using good tobacco is enjoyable every once in a while to commemorate something or at a nice event.


Other than that, f*ck it, smoke cigs.
 
I'm a fan of cigars. There's nothing like smoking some huge cigar to celebrate/commiserate with. Hell, when Zombie Master gets its public release, I'm buying a massive cigar and a bottle of scotch, and will just hop between random servers and go ZOOOOMJ.

Cigars are smoked in a different way to cigarettes, though. You take it into your throat, rather than into your lungs. Taking it into your lungs generally makes you sick, unless you're a regular smoker.

Well... except for the fact that cigars contain the same cancer causing carcinogenic compounds as you can find in cigarettes...

Oh trust me, I know from experience. I've spent quite a bit of time hacking and coughing from cigar smoke.

My friend recently brought back some Cubans from a trip to Europe- that's what brought this up. They were divine :D
 
Nah, definitely cuban. They were reeally nice. Except for Elian, he kept yelling at me in some weird language :hmph:

If I had to guess from that pic alone, i'd say you were 25.
