You probably all know the stores are closing now and I'd figured theres probably some of us that live close enough to them. I haven't been to mine in about 2 weeks and I just tried giving them a call but I couldn't get through.

Does anyone know the % off the games and movies are now?? I'd hate to drive 25 mins just to realize that either the prices still suck or that its not worth it. I've heard plenty of people say the sale prices still aren't as good as Walmart or Best Buy, can anyone confirm that??

All of their inventory is being handled by a liquidation company. Therefore, the price cuts aren't worth the trip... I got suckered in and was pissed off that I had to drive 45 minutes to get a 5% discount.

As the next few weeks go by, the cheaper things will get, bad side is that all the good stuff will be pretty much gone.
It's pretty much known that when a company hires a liquidator to sell their goods, they actually increase the price first, then gradually lower the prices as the weeks go by. SO yes, you'll probably find better deals at Best Buy or Walmart, till at least, the last few weeks of the liquidation.

Went out to get a music cd but they didn't have it apparently (or if they did shit sure wasn't in order and was hectic). Ended up getting an X-fi Xtreme Audio card. $40. Not that great but it beat newegg by a bit. Just an impulse buy but does anyone have any benchmarks or anything

The X-Fi Xtreme Audio is just a rebranded Audigy SE, it's also just software acceleration (your CPU still does the work), not hardware accerlation like the more expensive Audigy and X-Fi cards.
