If you listen to Hl Radio then you've probably heard of the Citadome mod. It's now been cancelled according to hlgamers.com. Apparently the leader quit. I really hope this doesn't happen to the toher great mods coming out. Anyway read the article on hlgamers.com the guy was actually on the team.

actually, if you've looked at real news sites, you'll find the read answer.

It's because the mod was a secondary part to a film they were amking, so they canceled the mod, but not the film.

moved to general editing.

Yea they said he was working on his script on hlgamers.com.

guys

guys, an enormous amount of mods never make it to completion.

The moddb.com has 159 pages of mod listing, with 10 mods per page. So we're talking approximately 1590 mods that at least have(or had) a website.

Now there are only 380 mods that have had a public release, that means that only 23% of the mods listed by moddb are actually completed. Now I'm sure theres some mods listed that are still in production that will be eventually released, so lets just say that about 66% of all mods are never released.

Seriously, a game with a ridiculously stupid plot and a picture or two of oh-so-imaginative weapons like a pipe and you were all waiting in breathless anticipation?

uh.. with that C-132 how can they have "in game renders" when the games not out yet?

Hmmmm, no big suprise to be honest, there will be mods that fail...

Dear god... I'm agreeing with Cerberus again  :p

Looks alot like Hl1..... I bet a lot of mod teams right now are making hl1 maps... and convert them to hl2 when the game is out. Recompile.. play. edit map... add detail. play.. release... done.

I've talked to the mappers who made those, they are promo maps...

I never even bothered to look at their website, I'm just saying... mods die... deal with it :)
