Citadome, the survival horror inspired modification, puts you in shoes of SGT. Miles Buford, a retired military specialist, who has to investigate a government run facility where bizarre movement is discovered after 160 years of vacancy. crates are overused in level design anyways, but white crates? makes no sense to me. in real life I've never seen a white crate.

not a bad update, but the one thing i could suggest for everything is contrast. increase the contrast. as my old drawing teacher use to say "don't be afraid to go dark" yea i read a bit too much into that statement too
 
lol, not really that much of an update, but the stuff isn't bad at all
 
How about player models? They are often forgotten, but imo they represent the mod.
 
I think this game looks amazing. period. I do agree that the crates are over used in games and that they should be removed. Other than that, the level design is great. I love the overall look to the level.

Can't wait for more.
 
The only things I saw were extremely low resolutions textures and some low polygons crates that look like crap. :rolling:


Then again, it could be the horribly compressed *.jpg format they used.

Actually, the textures are very high resolution. Halflife2.net for whatever reason compressed the images to shit quality. It actually looks intentional seeing how the images on the rest of the site with previews aren't nearly as compressed.

You can see better images on the website, even they are compressed, but they look a whole lot better.

Everything its very grainy looking. Especially with so many grates.
 
Look good. Cant wait for all these new mods.

how can you tell level design from 2 screenshots?

just more contrast, no more crates, only probs i really have with it. other then that gj peeps
