City 17 first Strider battle - out of ammo!

Hi,

I had just taken out the generators on top of the roof of that awesome building, and have ventured outside for my first strider battle. Problem is, I already have used all my rockets -- I don't have a prayer of winning! Is there any place in this square I can get some rockets? I know some dude inside talked to me with a rocket launcher, but he didn't give me nuthin'.

Amazing game so far.

just wait till all the people with rockets get killed off. also theres a stash of rockets in the middle of the grounds underneath that monument type thing.

If you cant get to the rockets, run underneath it and shoot the underside, the pulse rifle and the crowbar (suprisingly) work quite well while the guys are shooting rockets, just get out of the way when it dies otherwise it'll squash you.

lol, I beat that whole area without getting to the unlimited rockets box, it took me so many times, I had to make sure every rocket hit and distract the striders because I needed the npc's to hit them a bunch of times because they had unlimited ammo....

hehe I loved that map craig,
The unlimited ammo is in front of the building directly across from the building you just came out of. Funniest thing is that I just kept running around picking up ammo from dead guys, and beat that level. After I took out the striders, I was looking around, and found it(DOH! :smacks head). I thought," I really wish I had seen that."

There's at least three boxes and many little nooks here and there with even more ammo...
