City 17 reminds me of the book "1984"

Especially with the TVs with the guy on the TV (Have they released his name yet?). It seemed like you couldn't turn it off, because it was on in both rooms and no one was watching it.

The main difference though was that in 1984, most people loved the givernment, but everybody seems to hate it in city 17.

Anyone else read that book?
