ClanBase closes all CS:Source ladders, reason builtin cheats

argh, i saw some *****s talking bout this, didnt think it was true but alas it is.
 
Wow, I never knew it would result in a ladder closing.
 
Well fair enough.

It's pretty hard to police that kind of cheating , unless everyone submits POV demos after each game, random screenshots mid-game etc.

Better to just shut them down now and let Valve fix such blatant problems so the less 'pro' ladders can have relatively cheat free fun competitions.
 
Wow, weird. Nice find though, could have ruined the ladder.

Another example of just how bad CS:S is and how Valve ripped us all off with this sad excuse for HL2 MP.
 
Observe as ukfluke comes to this thread and claim he was right again. Just watch :LOL:
 
It really is a "bit" odd how they can leave commands like those in the game. It's like zmax all over again... ;(

Couldnt have put it better.
All it will take is for valve to patch this b*#£.

But I dont see how an error makes the rest of the game rubbish, as agent smith sees it. Yes it's a bad f£*#up - but the game is still good. One forgoten thing doesnt render everything else crap.
 
Another thing thats still there, is that you can double throw flashbangs. Aslong as you have two that is.

That pic you have provided is done by simply going in to spec mode, using POV view and bringing up the whole map overlay...i wouldn't call it cheating since you can't chat when you are in spec mode.

would it be better that those commands would be locked by similiar command as sv_cheats, etc. sv_notsocheats
 
Wierd that, that issue did'nt get adressed in the recent up-date..
 
now it is all fixed. They changed it so now you must have sv_cheats 1.
 
dunno there is another built in wallhack dunno if it works online
but if heared if you type command before you join it still works
+ i wont tell the command
