Wow...wow...and wow again.
I just got home from a classical music concert at the M.E.N Arena in Manchester, and it was amazing. I really had no idea that classical music could be so good. I've always liked it I suppose, but this concert was just awesome. The acoustics were great, the lighting was fantastic and they even had lasers which added to the performance to no end.
They played quite a variety of songs, most of them are the more famous ones. A few that stood out(All of them I suppose ) in order of how they were played. Zadok the Priest, The Liberty Bell March, Pomp and Circumstance March No 1 (I think its the right one that I'm thinking of...), Rule! Britannia The whole audience sang in parts of that one, and it was all just fantastic . And opf coruse...the finale, 1812 Overture. They even had the cannon and muskets of the Moscow Militia, as well as a lot of fireworks (inside I might add). Now that was great.
