Alright, When I make a mod and try to load it I get an error after opening. "Could not load client library"
So I have been dealing with this error since I have first used the "Create a Mod" feature in the SDK. I already know the temporary fix. Which has been fine up till now.
I've been trying for a long time to get Left 4 Dead to work. I set it up perfectly in hammer, all the models and entities show up and work correctly. But when I ran the mod, I got that error. I managed to get it working. But when it loaded, none of the entities worked in game.
So I need a fix to solve the problem at the source. If I don't have to worry about changing dlls or editing the gameinfo.txt in the first place, I wouldn't be having this problem. Or just another temporary fix.
Any suggestions?
Edit: I reinstalled steam and all my games, and it did nothing.
Also I was thinking, maybe someone who is already working on a L4D map to just upload their gameinfo.txt and their dlls in their bin folder. Hopefully I could just copy those and maybe get it to work like that?
