Game made by a USC student, called "Cloud".

If you ask me, some really innovative and sleek stuff here :)

Gist.

There are white clouds, and there are rainy clouds.

You can move the white clouds around, and they attract grey (not to be confused with rainy) clouds. When a grey cloud is attracted to your white cloud, it turns white and becomes a friend. You basically snowball your cloud bigger and bigger, and eventually, you gather all the cloud essence within yourself to move it to another area.

When you move your white cloud into a rainy cloud, the rainy cloud starts to rain water down on the land below it. Both your cloud and the rainy cloud, however, start to disipate.

You chose a map, and the map has a specific objective. There are maps where you are supposed to gather up the white and grey clouds to make a picture in the sky, there are maps where you are supposed to try and eliminate all the rainy clouds, there are maps where you're supposed to use the rainy clouds to put out fires...

But in each map, you are free to just chill out and play around with the clouds, or just fly around the map :)

Really cool game, check it out :D

Yeah, I read about it in CGW.

You can't believe how tranquil it is just flying around the map and hovering about the islands.

The music is superb too :D

How big is the file size? And is there a way of playing it without using the installer?

75 megs installed.

It kinda keeps everything to one folder, so i'd imagine you could just copy/paste that folder and distribute it alone.

Granted, the author permits it.

Spiffy.

Can you make tornadoes?! :D

No :(

But you can make really tall cloud collumns :D

But it's mainly a relaxing game, not much destruction.

I asked about the installer thing because I'm on a college computer which won't open .exe files (I think). Is there any downloads with just the game already extracted?

*edit* Woah, nevermind, it works.

Heh, who says destruction isn't relaxing? :p

I played this way back when it first won an indie award, I follow those closely because they're usually great games imo, like this :D

Wow, way to kill half an hour.
It's a strangely absorbing game, that pulls you in

For me atleast..

what the hell is that? This can't be a screenshot. What does the game look like?

Graphics do not make the game.
Yea, I know but I was hoping it was going to look really sweet.

Oh, well, I'll check it out tomorrow. Right now, my bed is going to feel like a cloud.

Superb music.
Edit: Just got to playing; in the intro with the pictures they were shakey and in the game itself the the camera went bezerk and i flew off the "map"? Mabe I'll try to reinsall.

2nd Edit: New drivers ftw

So is it worth playing? No one has said anything bad yet, so I guess it's worth trying.

It's a nice relaxation game.

Stressful day at work? Play this.

Having a bad day? Play this. :D

Mindless destruction is relaxing

Played this a few months ago... found it boring.

I rather enjoy the unhurried approach to the game. It really lets you make of it what you want, rather than playing itself with you just along for the ride.
