So yesterday I saw Cloverfield. Despite all the bad reviews of it on IMDb and such, I thought it was quite good. The camera really added to it, it made me feel like I was with them. The special effects were also amazing. My only gripe is the characters. Although they spent 20 minutes of the film getting to know the characters, but they didn't progress well.

Your thoughts

I thought it was a bit overhyped and a little too boring for a giant monster movie.

Cloverfield was a good movie. I gave it a 9/10 initially but looking on it I probably won't watch it again.

It's well done and it's a good draw, definitely worth seeing in cinemas but weeks on from seeing it, it's not the most memorable piece of cinema ever.

The movie was good, except for the guy holding the camera... I know it's supposed to be realistic and all, but I really wanted to punch him in the face. They could have made him more intelligent.

He was my favorite character.
