Hmm... I've never liked sports movies before, but for some reason i'm tempted to go and see this movie. For one, its got Samuel Jackson in it, who's one of my favorite actors. Secondly, I like the message its trying to send.

Anybody else interested in going to see this movie, who wouldn't normally watch a sports movie such as this?

Well... when its out I think i'm gonna go see it.

In a revent televised interview with the real coach Carter, he claimed that everything in the movie is about 98% true. Even though Jackson will no doubt put on a good performance in this movie, I still don't feel like seeing it. This is probably because my class spent a month watching the 3-hour documentary "Hoop Dreams" in my History of Film (art) class at High School last year. I'm done with basketball movies for a while.

EDIT for KoreBolteR: I think it's about this coach who turns the last place team of the previous year, into an undefeated team in the current year, but then begins cancelling games when nearly every player on the team begins failing their classes.

Samuel Jackson's worst movie i can tell you that. Cant believe he took a part like that. Typical spong movie.

Is it really that bad? Hmm. If so, I won't go to see it.

Seems to have a pretty good count here compared to most movies I consider good. I like rotten tomatoes since they list a whole bunch of reviewers reviews, then let you go there to read them in detail.
