COD2 question

somehwhere i read that part of the american campaign in COD 2 was to be based in the pacific...........can any one confirm this?

Judging from what I've seen thus far, the Pacific theater is going to have little to no role in this game. That could change by the time the game ships. I haven't seen anything based in the Pacific yet. I've only seen the European, African, and Soviet areas.

yeah but they could be saving it for the final release.........they dont wanna show every single part of the game

Yeah, that could be the case as well. I doubt it though. I think they would have at least shown off a screenshot or something. We'll see.

I know it will have some areas in North Africa(should be). I think PC Gamer (us) said that..I could get it back up and see what else they said about locations.

Your right..........the COD2 preview they did a while back said that you would be visiting the pacific on your US campaign. That might have changed or it might not have.
I personally would love a pacific campaign. I think the COD2 engine would do an excellent job of rendering those dense jungles

I find the pacific end of the war to be quite boring compared to europe. I'd take DoD or BIA over MOHA any day.

i agree that the European Theater is a bit more exciting but i love those jungle islands. They remind me of Far Cry.
