Not sure whether this is the right directory to post it in, but allright...

When I saw the sig of a guy named Tork on these forums that displayed a hexed ATi logo I reckoned it'd be cool to do the same for the nVidia one, with the below result:

0000000000000000000000000000000000
0000000333331111111120000000000000

0000000000000000000000000000000000

I then thought I could do a step further, and took the HL2 logo:

00000000000000000000000000000000000
00000000001111111111111111111100000

00000000000000000000000000000000000

The process is fairly easy. You openup notepad, make a space that you think is just big enough to contain the logo and then start putting in 1's, 2's and other numbers until the logo is there. Then you put in the forumbrackets and that's it.
Make sure to take a break sometime, as at some point your eyes will start to hurt.

Have phun :)

PS You're allowed to use these logo's as sigs ofcourse, but the chance is big you'll get a mod/admin on your back. Same happened to me :)

I thought that programs did that...
ASCII converter or something like that.
Anyway, yours are cool :]

Well, this is a art and design forum, they didnt called this stuff ASCII ART for nothing, as long it wont result in signatures with this stuff then its oke

There are programs that are able to convert pictures towards ASCII art. It's just more fun to do it on your own :)

Cool :) I tried to make my name in ascii but I have no patience with these kinda things :p

There ya go. Just copy-paste the white version and insert the colors you like :)

Take the following sequence:

[c olor=]000000000000000000000[c olor=]111111[c olor=]000000000000000
[c olor=]1111[c olor=]00[c olor=111[c olor=]0[c olor=]1111111[c olor=]000[c olor=]111[c olor=]00[c olor=]111[c olor=]0[c olor=]1111[c olor=]00[c olor=]111[c olor=]0000
0[c olor=]111[c olor=]00[c olor=]111[c olor=]0[c olor=]111[c olor=]00[c olor=]111[c olor=]00[c olor=]111[c olor=]00[c olor=]111[c olor=]0000[c olor=]1111[c olor=]000000
[c olor=]00[c olor=]1111111[c olor=]0[c olor=]111[c olor=]00111[c olor=]000[c olor=]111111[c olor=]000111[c olor=]00[c olor=]1111[c olor=]000

And take out all the spaces in the brackets. Then you can place the color of your choice behind the =. Bare in mind that you have to use the same color for all the 1's and the same color for all the 0's in order to get a two-coloured sig like the one I posted earlier.

cool stuff

Salt Peter.......
When I was 13 I stumbled upon the Anarchist (sp) Cook Book
In it: How to make a smoke bomb.
"melt" sugar with salt peter (KNO3) (Potassium Nitrate) with Simple sugar and let harden in a container (with fuse)

WOrked well enough, bout 4 oncues in a 1 inche by 3 inch diameter pan, shot a very birght torch like flame (blue) out bout 8 inches high and spewed smoke for 2-3 minutes, a bit much ;-)

Yea it also tells how to make naplam which is easy to make.Just get gasoline and start putting stirofoam in it till it gets jelly like and you see the stirfoam at the top.

If you want to read a book like that (I've never had the urge), don't get the Anarchist Cookbook. It's really, really old, really out of date, and really not-safe (if such situations can ever be considered safe). There's another one which I can't remember off hand that's supposed to be much better... search around.

Saltpeter is also the main ingredient for gunpowder. It's a white type of substance, hence my signature.
