Colbert gives subliminal nod to Anonymous

Yeah, but more importantly, they did it while he was talking to a guy about Anonymous.

I'm as perceptive as a deaf bat, and I still noticed it.

Well, I uh... I mean I might have seen it, but uh... you know, that's a very good question. I'll get back to you on that.

See, I perceived that you weren't telling the whole story. I'm wearing my Pants of Perception right now, so nothing gets past me.

Subliminal to people who aren't looking directly at the screen.

I find it hard to not side with anonymous, with an endorsement such as this.

For some reason I am now thirsty for Coca Cola.

Except it wouldn't be subliminal to them, because they wouldn't have gotten the message at all due to not even looking at the screen. But hey, good try anyways I guess.

I didn't notice it when I first watched that episode, but I might have been looking away at that moment. It is very noticeable looking at that part again.

Nah, you're just not as perceptive as me. Its ok, few people are, and at least you're not jealous like these other guys.

That would be fairly hard to recognise as anything other than a screen flicker if you wern't looking for it... Well for human eyes anyway

Well, recognizing WHAT it was is different than recognizing that something was off... weird... and so I probably would have gone back and played back at 1/15th speed on my dvr to catch it and see what the hell it was. If I had seen it initially that is.

And that of course is exactly what whoever first found this did... because that's the only way to do it! They see something funny, they go back and re-watch it again and find out what it was.

When I noticed it, I knew it was a face. I thought it was trollface.jpg at first though.

Yeah but I mean if I saw that I would just say "haha crappy camera work", probably because I would never bother to go back and slow it down.

Has there been any word from Colbert about it yet, I wouldn't be surprised if it was just one of the guys in the editing room having a laugh?

On Monday's show, he was playing it off as if his feed was hacked and someone else put it in. Obviously, with Colbert its hard to know if its true.
