2 words.. ****ing Immense!

The support bands were Morning Runner & Elbow, who were decent in their own way, but Coldplay totally dominated and stole the show.

Right at the end Chris said something along the lines of "well, for our next single we've decided to release 'Fix You' and we've also decided that we want to film the video for it here at Bolton Stadium" and the crowd went ****ing nuts!

To make sure they got all the footage they needed they did the song twice.

In the last week I've been to see both Oasis and Coldplay and I have to say that Coldplay was far superior if nothing because the crowd was 20 times more mature and piss wasn't getting thrown everywhere, so I was able to enjoy it more...

It pissed it down pretty much from the start of the gig to the end of the gig and Chris was pretty funny ad-libbing about the rain during Politik.

Also someone had a blow up man-doll floating around the first 5 rows with 'Make Trade Fair' scribbled on it and he made a few jokes about that too..

Good Stuff! I'll defo be booking my tickets for the next Coldplay tour.

I saw Lenny Kravitz yesterday. First time ever he's in Finland. ****ing amazing. I would reaaallly wanna see coldplay live but I doubt they'll ever come to Finland :(

Today is Black Sabbath :) And I've got tickets to their consert too!

YAY FOR ME! However they've banned cameras :( So no pics from me.

hey did you ever get tickets to that NiN concert you were telling me about?

I know what you mean about the piss, I got drenched at Manchester, but Oasis were at their best there, pity about the collection of bell ends.

Coldplay and Oasis have decided to release their new singles on the same day, which will be interesting, although, for me, The Importance Of Being Idle is A far superior song, but Fix You has grown on me (well, after the song gets past Chris trying to sound like a choir boy at least).

Glad you enjoyed it tho mate

i nearly did.
i didn't talk to him for a whole week...and he had the nerve to say "i apoligized already!" when infact i don't remember it. :hmph:

Craig that is awesome, i remeber hearing the album first time and loving fix you straight away, i was trying to convince you stemot that it was good! Nice to hear its growing on you though. Did fix you TWICE, lucky lucky boy. I've seen some live performances and at the end does he say 'i will try to....' /end or does he do it like on X&Y and put 'fix you' at the end?

Tis my fav song on the album, but i like that importance of being idle too, kinda catchy, although its like a 60's or something, but i like it. The video is odd too. Can't wait to see fix you released. Good to hear you enjoyed it Craig, i desperately want to see them too.

I would kill to see a concert of Coldplay :(

Why didn't they plan a stop of their tour in Belgium :(

I`m still not overly sold on the album, while it`s grown on me, I still don`t thinnk it`s as good as their previous work, but then again, when people say that about Oasis I get pissed off (due to the fact that the stuff they are doing now is still awesome, just people are comparing it to stuff that can never be bettered), soI decided to give it another try, and tracks like Talk, Hardest Part and Square One are getting better (im still slightly "hnnnggghh" with some of the lryics though) so you know, it`s not the disastor I originally thought it was.
Lets just say that I consider this the second best album of the year after Oasis, with the new Subways one third.

well to be honest I took the idea from a friend of mine ...cuz his dad accidentily used the wrong tube to brush his teeth ...said it was painful :E

Erm, good question lol. I can't really answer it lol because I was singing at the top of my lungs during the whole gig. I know I sang "and I will try to fix you", but not sure about Chris.. think he did. For the whole gig Chris would give the opportunity to sing and most of the people in the audience didn't seem to realise lol (maybe 50%) so it was up to me and the other 50% to sing for all of us heh.
