I don't know if any of you saw this when it was in theaters but it was one of the coolest movies I have ever seen. I mean it's by the same guy who did Heat (Michael Man), which was also awesome.

Anyway, it comes out on DVD tomorrow in the states and I would definitely recomend picking it up or at the least renting it.

Mmmmmh.... t'was great but.... DVD....? I'll see :)

What the ? It had it's premier here like 2 months ago?

i loved the movie :D
can't afford to get the DVD right now...but in some time January for sure :)

I saw it in the theatre opening day. I thought it was really good. I don't know if I'll buy it, but I'll probably rent it.

I think he is talking about the fact that the majority of the movie was filmed on a digital camera, though it wasent some cheap home on i assure you! It helps as the entire film happens at night.

It's a great movie. I will definately get it on DVD when it's out in Europe.

It was an alright film, not sure if its good enough to sit on my shelf though :)

Yeah, Mann used special cameras for about 80% of the shooting at night. But home cam...? :D

I saw this movie just 2 days ago. Thought it was ok.

Yeah, I remember reading somewhere that he used a home digital video camera to create the movies look (kind of like watching cops...only not).

as a fan of classic film noir I havee to say, not a bad movie at all, I agree nice cinematography.

But the ending really spoiled it for me, so I don't think I'll pick it up on DVD

A lot of people have been complaining about the ending but I don't see why. I rather liked it, although it could have ended with more of a bang.

no quite the contrary, the ending was so cliche. It would have been much cooler if tom had just succeeded and simply left. Understated endings are the coolest

The movie was the most retard movie of all. Tom Cruise what the hell is wrong with you for choosing such a stupid movie (maybe he stupid)* hehehe.

Anyways the movie was no where near how Assasins, hired killers, or hitmen do their job. If he was a real hitman in real he would of been dead on his first job!!!!

It's a cool movie I guess but I thought the director (Michael Mann) did a better job with "Heat."

...and you know that because of what?

Me too... while I didn't like Heat's too much. Strange :) Collateral is just a bit calmer, so it fits.

Really? I thought Heat had a good ending too, at least after I had seen it for a second time.

Mmmmmh... I just somehow don't like the scenery

hospital/airport... never been a fan of that :) no problem that Neil dies and the final hand-giving and so on
