My university made changes to their network and now it seems as though everything going through port 80 has a bandwidth cap of some sort. I think its only port 80 because in CS:S, I get 10 ping or less for alot of servers which is outstanding, and I download music just fine on Ares.
But still, speed tests at places like dslreports.com tell me my connection is around 300/100 down/up. For most internet usage its fine, but streaming video and loading flash content is sooo slow. Is there a way to set my computer up to use a different port to access HTTP?
