Colors dont want to work

Hi

I have this very dark skin that I want to modify and add green color spot in it.

When I try to do this in (painbrush or photoshop) my perfectly good green turns very dark,how can I prevent this?

Check [image] ==> [mode] ==> and see what mode it's in. I don't know exactly if that is right, as my computer right now doesn't have photoshop. It should probably be in RGB. I'm guessing yours is in black and white or indexed mode. This is why it changes it to grey or black. Most likely that is the problem, if not... upload your bmp/psd in a zip file and i'll see what the problem is, or give a better description.

Any time. That took me a while to figure out too, was a PAIN in the butt. hehe. I wanted to shoot myself when I found out that was the problem..
