Colplay - X & Y (new album)

Coldplay performed live at a radio station called KCRW a few days ago singing five new songs and I've heard them! Has anyone else?

The songs they played were:

1. Square One.
2. White Shadows.
3. A Message
4. What If.
5. Speed of Sound.

I have to say I'm really impressed with these songs... considering by album 3 most bands fall flat on their arse. I mean the quality of the recording (bootleg) is absolutley awful, but they're such catchy tunes that I find myself listening over and over regardless of the quality of them. Maybe it's just me, quite a few of the songs above have either a very 80s feel (in a good way) or an epic sound to them. The cool guitar licks/piano based ballads have returned of course too. I'd love to say theres some standout tracks in the songs above, but they're all ace!

I'll have to hear them when they're released, but I wouldn't doubt that they're good.
