I was watching the traptown video again and I noticed that when the combine soldiers died they made the same sound as a headcrab or zombie when they get hit or die. So i was thinking that this could be some more evidence that the combine are alien. (this might have already been confirmed).

IM not usually one to eat up all this specualtion as I am happy to wait for the game to come out to find out.. but I know some of you guys are so this might be interesting.

Im sorry if this has already been brought up

I dont think that thise has been brought up. Well i just gona watch the movie and hear for my self.

Well I just watched it again, and at first when Gordon nailed on with the radiator I thought "oh... he's right" but then when he shot out the support beam on roped that killed some while not killing a couple, you get to hear the sound again, but afterwords theres some talking, which sounds alot like the death sound, so I'm thinking its just them cringing/yelling through thier gas masks

the headcrab dieing also sounds similar but somewhat different

I'm pretty sure they're a combine of both alien and human, but think, if they were all alien why would they have the exact same body frame/voices/language as humans?

I beleive they are a combination because if you've seen the prowler concept shots, they have heavy human influences while some small alien features

This is like the 10th time I've seen it posted. And no matter what theories one have, it all comes down to a single question that is the only thing that matters: Is it a placeholder or is it the real final sound?

When the combine soldiers are hit by the swinging beam, one of them shouts 'man down' .. so im guessing they (at least partly) human.

You need to say which combine. The ones with the blue mask I beleive (dont have the movie) are not only human, they're british :)

haha, good observation, good to see our kind finally in video games
