Well...no.

See, the Gordon Freeman featured isnt the same Gordon as in HL (hence the beard). Or maybe this is Gordon after the events of HL...i dont know. Look, hes just there, but then the G-Man is also...you'll find flaws if you overanalyze the comic.

Also, thats just the art style.
