Command promt commands not working

This is so embarassing, and I'm sure the answer is very simple. But, I typed the command "ipconfig" and it gives me an error stating that it is not recognized as an internal or external command. Same thing happens when I type the commands "netstat" and "tracert". The help command doesn't even work.

Any ideas on that the problem might be? Thanks.

Thanks that fixed it. It was in the C:\windows\system32 folder.

How do I change the path so the command prompt always goes to that folder?
