Commandos 1

This is a wierd problem..

I install Commandos, and the game will start, but the second I move the mouse at the main menu, it crashes/exits.

I play the game off the disk and it works fine 100% movies and all.

I would keep playing off the disk, but I can't save when I do that, can anyone tell me my problem? It used to work fine..

That game is really hard.

What version of windows are you using, does it need a patch for XP

Actually.. I installed to a custom folder I made before the install, I put it in my folder on the desktop, then I created a folder called 'Commandos' then copied/pasted the file directory thing into the installation thing and it installed into 'Commandos' that I made, and works perfectly fine now.. I have no idea WHY that worked, but thanks for trying to help.

And yes, it is hard, which is why I love it so much. I have all Commandos games (except stupid Strike Force, they made it into an FPS wtf!), and I've only ever beaten #3, I got pretty darn far in #1 before, but I lost my save due to corruption, which is why I uninstalled in the first place (that was like 4 years ago), I'm just going to take another crack at it from square 1. As for number two, I've never even actually played it.. I'll play it after I beat #1!
